I would like to share a little information about myself. I have lived in this area my entire life, other than when I went to chiropractic school in St. Louis. I was born and raised about 30 miles north in Crete, Illinois. My parents still live in the same house to this day.

I went to grade school at Lansing Christian Grade School and attended Illiana Christian High School in Lansing as well. After high school I went to college locally for my undergraduate courses. First I attended Prairie State College and then Governors State University. Graduate school led me to St. Louis where I attended Logan College of Chiropractic starting in the fall of 2000.

When graduation approached I had a difficult decision to make; where would I open up my office? After visiting a number of towns I kept looking more and more at Kankakee County. Obviously, this is a great community and it is close to my family and friends, so it was a perfect fit!

I am blessed with the love of my life, Soleil, and four beautiful and healthy children, Carolynn, Calvin, Warren and our youngest, Lewis. My wife and I are truly blessed with our growing family and we are looking forward to many exciting times in the future.

Along with snowmobiling and some camping I mostly love to spend time with my family. I consider myself very lucky to love what I do and to be able to help others. If there is ever anything I can do for you, please let me know. I enjoy public speaking for schools, lectures for businesses, and helping at fundraisers (the Avon Walk has been my favorite in the past)--whatever I can do to help! I try to stay involved with the community, so if you see me at an event, please stop me and say hello!

Hi, I'm Dr. DeRouen, though most people call me Dr. Kevin. I grew up in California until the age of 12 when my family decided to move to Virginia. I attended high school and Community College in Virginia before joining the United States Navy as an Aviation Ordnanceman. During my eight years in the Navy, I went on two deployments where I got to travel to a lot of different countries. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree from American Military University while serving in the Navy. At the end of my Naval contract, I chose to go to Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri starting in the fall of 2021.

After finishing school, I decided to look for associateship positions and different Chiropractic Practices that aligned with my core values. Once I found Dr. Rich Van Til, I knew I had found the perfect fit here in Kankakee County.

My wonderful wife Kelsey and I have active children in the Kankakee Community. We have a
son named Asher and a daughter named Rylee. My wife is originally from Watseka Illinois, so it
has been a true blessing to be able to bring her home near her family.

When I’m not at the office or spending time with my family, you can usually find me at an ice rink with Asher who plays hockey and Rylee who is a competitive figure skater.
